My background is as a cardiologists and physician in the NHS and although semi-retired I am now back working clinically and teaching. I am most privileged to have been appointed one of the Trustees for the Chislehurst Society in 2019. My parents moved to this part of the world in 1984 and I spent most of the 1980’s here returning 3 years ago after working in Bristol and Oxford. I have worked with several charitable organisations in the past including the British Heart Foundation and as a governor for the Oxford University Hospitals Foundation Trust. I currently act as a patient’s representative for the European Society of Cardiology. My role in the society is as liaison for the National Trust I also work on specific bespoke projects for the Society such as the development of the update of the Chislehurst map.
