Our 145 Road Stewards are the back-bone of the Chislehurst Society; they enable us to keep in close contact with members, so that communications are fast and effective.
All Road Stewards are volunteers. They give up their time freely to act as the link with residents in their roads. They also deliver our free publications, The Chislehurst Report and The Cockpit, to members, and make other deliveries from time to time. They do a wonderful job.
Road Stewards receive copies of the Executive Commitee minutes, and of the Planning applications, and twice a year they are invited to open meetings with the Executive Committee. They may ask to attend the meetings of the Executive Committee.
We do not publish names and contact details of our Road Stewards. The following is the list of roads in Chislehurst which DO NOThave a Road Steward in place. If you live in or near a road which has no Steward, and wish to become one, or if you live in a road and want to know who your road steward is, please contact us. (information as at 2nd March 2015)
