Chislehurst clean-up morning - future events

Just two hours' collection by our team

Dates for the remainder of 2015 are:

Meet at the Red Cross car park at 10am.

The litter-picking coverage will include the roads around the ponds, Watts Lane, Prince Imperial Road, the cricket ground, Bromley Road and Bromley Lane, the Commons between Cooper's School and Royal Parade and outside The Ramblers' Rest.

If you and a friend or neighbour (not necessarily a Chislehurst Society member although, be warned, we will try to recruit you!) would like to take part simply turn up on the day, or contact us.

Equipment will be provided, but if you have any of the following please bring it with you:

  • Litter-picker
  • High visibility waistcoat
  • Gloves
If you know a site (anywhere in the BR7 postal district) that is affected by litter and/or graffiti please let us know and we’ll ensure it receives attention.

Recycling tips

Electronic equipment is now the fastest growing waste stream in the UK. If you have gadgets and gizmos lying around that you’re not sure what to do with, check out The Restart Project – a fantastic organisation.
